Power flows through a smooth-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels unless you specify the Enclave’s optional all-wheel drive system. The 3.6L engine is also fuel efficient for its size, giving drivers an EPA-estimated 21 mpg combined (18 mpg city/26 mpg highway) for models equipped with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive models see a 1-mpg drop across the board, culminating in an EPA-estimated 20 mpg combined (17 mpg city/25 mpg highway). The available Trailering Package not only lets the 2022 Enclave tow up to 5,000 pounds, but it also adds Hitch Guidance with Hitch View. This feature overlays a dynamic backing grid line on the touch screen display to help drivers hook up trailers faster and easier.
