Chevrolet and Shell Partner To Let You Pay and Save Without Getting Out of the Car

At Heritage Chevrolet Buick Owings Mills, we know there are many reasons to buy a Chevrolet: long-lasting performance, reliable safety, and modern conveniences. Chevrolet knows it, too, and those conveniences don’t just stop inside the vehicle, they also extend to the outside—Chevrolet and Shell have just announced a new partnership that will let drivers easily pay for fuel at Shell stations without even getting out of the car.

Pay for Your Gas With the Touch of a (Digital) Button

Chevy and Shell have partnered to bring customers the automotive industry’s first embedded, in-dash fuel payment and savings experience. With this new service, drivers can use the Marketplace feature in the infotainment center of 2017 or newer Chevy models to find a Shell station and pay for fuel all with a few touches on the in-dash LCD touchscreen.

The Marketplace in Chevy vehicles has already opened up a world of amenities for drivers. Using the in-dash touchscreen, drivers can find local businesses like restaurants or hotels and order food or make reservations. Now, drivers can link their Shell Fuel Rewards® accounts and save when they purchase fuel from any Shell station.

We introduced Marketplace to deliver value, productivity and convenience to our customers. Bringing the Shell Pay & Save functionality right on the touchscreen of our vehicles is the latest advancement of this platform, allowing drivers to simply access Fuel Rewards® and pay for gas while inside their car.
